Coordinator of Events and Special Programs, Catholic Apostolate Center (Hyattsville, MD)

As with all of the staff positions with the Catholic Apostolate Center, this position, which is full-time, will take the gifts, talents, and interests of the individual who is hired into account when creating the work agreement.

Responsible to the Founding Director and reporting to the Director of Administration, this full-time position assists with various projects of the Catholic Apostolate Center. This individual will work with who assist with various Catholic Apostolate Center, Pallottine Seminary at Green Hill, and Pallottine Vocation Office-related projects. This is a full – time
position located in person at the Pallottine Seminary at Green Hill, in West Hyattsville, Maryland.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Assist with coordination of the upkeep of Green Hill by collaborating on maintenance, repairs, visitors and deliveries, purchasing, and cleaning.
2. Assist in the support of Green Hill community members and visitors, both long-term and short-term.
3. Coordinate the Center and Vocation Office social media posts, including assisting with social media plans, scheduling, image creation, and analyzing statistics.
4. Coordinate groups using Green Hill, including the marketing of the facility, bookings, and accommodations.
5. Coordinate Center’s store, including maintaining inventories of all books, reordering books from print shop, shipping online orders, and sending out bulk orders.
6. Assist in the coordination of the Center’s external events and presentations, including travel logistics and supplies support.
7. Assist with coordination and editing of the Center’s blog.
8. Assist with Center webinars, including preparation, technology practice with presenters, and support during the webinar.
9. Assist with Center publication creation and review, and collaborate with the Administrative Team and print shop on printing, edits, and delivery of finished product.
10. Assist Center’s newsletter production, including writing, editing, and scheduling.
11. Assist in writing and editing projects related to the Center’s programs and resources.
12. Assist in the updating and editing of the Center’s websites.
13. Assist with podcast and video reviews.
14. Take notes for Administrative Team meetings.
15. Other duties as assigned.
